Never occurred to me before, but the GI Joe unit is a lot like The Village People, with each member having their own personalized outfit of some manly stereotype 😅. Was that one guy always wearing a snow suit?

My old man raised me on these cartoons. I watched G.I. Joe, Zelda, Mario, King Arthur, Ghostbusters, and Dungeons & Dragons.

This cartoon is so American to the point it was drawn by Japanese studio.

I always liked how GI Joe is funded by the US government and Cobra is thye terrorist organization but Cobra had the finances and tech to have android troopers and massive air ships.

I'm not even American, but a Canadian... But I loved this show. GI Joe and the classic Star Trek taught me about courage, bravery, duty, determination, cooperation, friendship and loyalty. I'd wanna wave that flag too! And it stuck with me my whole life... I joined the Canadian military at 45...just took a long road to get here. And the USA always got looked down on by a lot of people in Canada. My dad taught me that was BS. The world would be a far worse place without the USA in it. My father wouldn't have escaped "repatriation" by Soviet forces if it wasn't for an American Sergeant. Duke is the king of the Joe's. 👑 💪🏻👍🏻 YO JOE! 🇺🇸🇨🇦

"Its GI Joe against Cobra and Destro~" - I dont know why that is catchier than it has any right to be, much better over "Cobra, The ENEMY" which is abit cheesy.
